Audrey Redfield, PhD.
About Me
I am a Licensed Psychologist and received my doctorate from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. My approach is trauma-informed and I am trained in and utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to help facilitate healing.
I specialize in treating adults with posttraumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. I can help with navigating through life transitions, grief and loss, and substance abuse, self-esteem, sexual identity and relationship issues, as well as provide support with integrating psychedelic and spiritual experiences.
I have worked for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) as an Adherence Rater for clinical trials exploring the efficacy of MDMA-Assisted Therapy to treat Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and as a research therapist for the Beckley Psytech clinical trial investigating 5-MeO-DMT for the treatment of Treatment Resistant Depression. I am currently a research therapist on the Cybin clinical trial assessing the effectiveness of a psilocin-like compound for treating Major Depression. These roles have provided me with extensive training and experience as well as a strong foundation for understanding how these medicines that alter consciousness can assist the therapeutic process and informs me in my KAP work with clients.
I believe that we all have an inner healing intelligence that is a source of wisdom and guidance toward the expression of our true self and unique gifts and the fulfillment of our aspirations. The light of our inner healer is often clouded by various stressors, trauma, conditioning, and roles we took on as children to survive that we continue to enact as adults. I hold a safe, non-judgmental space of compassion and curiosity to support you with accessing this light and experiencing the transformative power of the self-love and self-acceptance that radiate from it.
